Cheryl Ann Kelley, 61 of Tavares, FL passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019. She was born on February 27, 1958 in Torrington, CT to John and Lois Alender. Cheryl graduated from North Western Regional Highschool district number seven in 1976. In 1988 she moved from Connecticut to Lake County Florida. Cheryl was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church, Tavares, FL. She enjoyed gardening, orchids, and the beach. She is predeceased by her father: John F. Alender; and Son: Nicholas Robert Kelley. She is survived by her Mother: Lois I. Alender, of Tavares, FL; Son: Michael (Samantha) Kelley, of TX; Sisters: Debbie Powell, of Daytona, FL and Jackie (Steve) Seward, of Umatilla, FL; Niece: Kayla Seward, of Altoona, FL; Nephew: Kyle Seward, of Tavares, FL; and Two Grandchildren: Darci Kelley and Abbi Kelley. Cheryl had a big heart and was a fun person to be around. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt grandmother, and friend who will be missed by many.
