Justine (Schamberg) Handshue, age 70, of Elizabeth passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at home. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Pleasant Hills. She was a member of the Bloodhound Club in Elizabeth and loved spending time with her animals. She was a music lover, loved playing cards with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Born September 21, 1948 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dolores (Snyder) Schamberg. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Kurt Handshue; beloved mother of Michael (Helen) Osella of Canonsburg and Melanie (Chris) Casella of Cecil Twp.; beloved grandmother of Murray and Clara Osella and Nicholas and Kristyn Casella; brother, Arthur Schamberg of Baldwin; sister, Sherry Kotz of Bethel Park; father-in-law, Edward Handshue of Jefferson Hills; beloved dog, Milo; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 2 PM until the time of funeral service at 7 PM with Pastor Allyn K. Itterly officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Riverside Veterinary Hospital, 512 South Second Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
