Brandon Michael Maxton December 09, 1984 – August 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Brandon Michael Maxton, 34, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:50 A.M., Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL. Brandon loved going to church and was a member of Chapel of Hope Church in Du Quoin. He was a 2006 graduate of Christopher High School. Brandon enjoyed watching Du Quoin Indian Football. He loved John Deere tractors, trains and fire trucks. Brandon enjoyed game shows, especially Price Is Right and Wheel of Fortune. He liked watches and loved people. Brandon was born December 9, 1984 at Marion, IL, the son of Lisa K. Maxton. He is survived by his mother of Du Quoin, aunt – Lori Williams and husband Steve of Du Quoin, special aunt – Luana Maxton of Du Quoin, aunt – Janet Maxton of Du Quoin, and cousins – Dylan Ruggeri of Du Quoin and Jason Maxton of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents – Frank Maxton and Phyllis Maxton, maternal great grandparents – Scotty and Arline Maxton and Edna and Paul McMichael, uncle – Jerry Maxton and two cousins – Leah Ruggeri and Bryan Maxton. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Betsy George, Treena Wicoff and Rev. Gaylen Holden officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to Larry The Flagman and will be accepted at the funeral home.
