John Dan Lambert August 13, 1942 – August 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation John Dan Lambert, age 77, of Marlette, MI, formerly of TN, passed away peacefully with family at his side Sunday, August 18, 2019 at United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital in Marlette. He was born August 13, 1942 in Claiborne County, TN son of the late Fount and Laura (Leonard) Lambert. John graduated from Forge Ridge High School with the Class of 1960. He married Evelyn Irene Fultz on April 9, 1966 in Tazewell, TN. He was a production line worker for General Motors retiring after 32 years of service. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, gardening and going for drives. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Lambert; two sons, John (Pamela) and Leman (Cristina Papahatzis) Lambert; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Levi) Wilkinson, Bridgett (Colin) McMahon and Cheyenne (Hayden) Harneck; four great grandchildren, Corbin and Bristol “Rosie” Wilkinson, Liam and Jonah McMahon; three sisters, Betty Lambert, Sally Lavine and Darlene Schmitt; brother-in-law, Tom Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, one brother William (Irene) Lambert; and two sisters, Lucy (Elmer) Carmack and Phyllis Brooks. The family will receive visitors from 2 – 8 PM Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and 10 AM until time of the service on Friday. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 23, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with Pastor Sue Platt officiating. Burial will follow at Marlette Cemetery in Marlette, MI.
