Mrs. Betty O’Neal Biggs of Raeford passed away at the home of her daughter, Connie Lindsay on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the age of 91. Mrs. Biggs was born on October 9, 1927, to the late Joseph and Sara Copeland. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas O’Neal and Homer Biggs. Mrs. Biggs was a longtime member of Galatia Presbyterian Church and the Women’s Sunday school class. She was a pink lady volunteer at Cape Fear Valley hospital for 32 years and avid bowler all her adult life. She was also a Shrinette. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Lindsay and husband Donald of Raeford and Terri McCraney of Raeford. 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. Visitation will be from 3-4 pm Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Galatia Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 8800 Galatia Church Road Fayetteville, NC. Funeral services will follow at 4 pm with CRE Herman Autry officiating. Interment will be 1:00 pm.
