Annette Ruth (Tharp) Lantz, 58, of Mt. Lake Park, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at her home. Born November 18, 1960, in Summersville, WV, she was the daughter of Ellene Ruth (Barker) Tharp, Oakland, MD, and the late Cornelius Junior Tharp. Annette worked as a clerk in retail stores. She attended Loch Lynn Church of God. Annette enjoyed listening to country music. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Randy Lane Lantz; three daughters, Sacagawea Lantz and companion, Rusty Sypolt, Terra Alta, WV; Brandie Welch and husband, Michael, Morgantown, WV; Tabitha Soult and husband, James, Mt. Lake Park; three brothers, Charles Tharp, NC; Timothy Tharp, Mt. Lake Park; Trinity Tharp, SC; seven grandchildren, Shadoe Probst; Sierra Probst and companion, Paul Wilt; Xavier Weisend; Leah Brown and wife, Anna; Hunter Welch; Brandt Welch; Elijah Soult; one great granddaughter, Hayven Wilt. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD, 21550, on Friday, August 30th, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel following visitation at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Robert Fletcher and Reverend’s Ivan and Cindy Ackerman officiating.
