She was born in Paauilo, Hawaii on August 8, 1923 and was a member of the Hilo Meishoin Buddhist Temple, Meishoin Fujinkai and Yamaguchi Kenjinkai. Private services held. No flowers. No Koden (monetary offerings). She is survived by sons, Milton (Ethel) Takeguchi of Temecula, California and Sidney (Patsy) Takeguchi of Hilo; daughters, Joyce (Russell) Inaba of Mililani and Amy (Thomas) Kekahio of Hilo; sister, Sue Daimaru of Hilo; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
