June 13, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Coon was born March 29, 1941 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was an agent for American General Insurance Company, and a member of Everett Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Coon and one daughter Cindy Ross. Survivors include one daughter, Tonya Moore of Wetumpka, Alabama, two sisters, Charlotte Coleman of Clayton, Oklahoma, Sharon Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one brother, Marion Coon of Ore City, Texas, one son-in-law, David Ross of Hooks, Texas, five grandchildren, David Ross II of Holts Summitt, Missouri, Jamie Goff of New Blumfield, Missouri, Justin Ross of Hooks, Texas, Zachary Ross of Rockledge, Florida, Patrick Moore Jr, of Wetumpka, Alabama and a host of other friends and relatives. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Everett Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas with Bro. Roy Ford and Marion Coon officiating. Visitation will e from 6:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Everett Cemetery, Hooks, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
