RuthAnne’s Obituary RuthAnne Boutwell, known as “Mee Mee” to her grandchildren, returned home, surrounded by those who loved her, on the morning of June 5, 2019. She was 74. Arrangements made by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel RuthAnne was born on March 9, 1945, in Amarillo, Texas. She married Rex Gregg, of Borger, in 1961. Together they had three daughters. She spent nearly 30 years in property management, a proud member of the apartment association, previously working as a restaurant manager. RuthAnne was fierce in the love, protection and care she gave to her friends and family. A Frenchwoman with fiery red hair and icy-blue eyes, she was, by far, the most stylish woman in the family. She loved many things, and showed no restraint in expressing what she loved and telling stories about each of her favorite people or things. RuthAnne loved Jesus, coffee, purses, jewelry, walking her dogs and grand-dogs, shopping, spending time with her family and giving of her time to those around her. She advanced her family through the love she gave and the strength she shared by encouragement, storytelling and example. RuthAnne is survived by a brother, Richard Darrell Dickens and wife Vicki; daughter, Cynthia Smith and husband Jimmy; daughter, Rexanna Long and husband Danny; daughter, Deona Fisk; five grandchildren, Michael Gregg, Austin Myers, Anastasia Penna, Bailie Myers and Parker Fisk; four great-grandchildren Izsobella, Finnigan, Sagan and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joann Wortham and A.J. Dickens; brother, John Wylie “Spud” Dickens; and grandson, Brandon Gregg. Her family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. In remembrance of RuthAnne, her family requests you take an extra-long walk with your dog, take someone you love to lunch, or simply take a moment to share joy with those around you. Read More
