Arcie’s Obituary Arcie Edna Walker, age 93, of Cool Ridge, WV, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House. Born on July 30, 1925 in Cool Ridge, she was the daughter of the late William E. Griffith and Pearl Reed Griffith. Arcie was a homemaker and a member of Open Door Church at Shady Spring. In addition to her parents, Arcie was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker; by siblings, Calvin Griffith, Edith Jarrell, Wanda Sweeney, Evelyn Lilly, and Marlene Chambers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include nieces, nephews and many friends. A private entombment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.
