Glen was born on October 4, 1937 in Parma, MO to the late Oral and Hazel Pointer. He worked as a foreman at National Standard for 40 years. Glen was preceded in death by his sisters, Genetta Stark, Joyce Vaughn, Geneva Pear. He is survived by second wife, Carole; Joan Pointer, mother of his children; daughter, Tammy Leonard; son, David Pointer; step-daughter, Tammy (Mark) Bates; step-sons, Troy (Wendy) Campbell, Scott Campbell; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Caring Circle, Lakeland Health Affiliate, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085. A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
