Yvonne “Vonnie” (Riden) Biddle, age 79, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at home. She was a retired bank teller for Equibank in Elizabeth. An active member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp., she was a former 50-year member of the Elizabeth Women’s Club and loved bowling, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with grandchildren. Born August 18, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel (Schaffer) Riden and wife of the late Dr. Albert F. “Zeke” Biddle Jr. She is survived by sons, Scott (Nancy) Biddle of Elizabeth Twp., Dr. Jeff (Susan) Biddle of Elizabeth Twp., Mark (Jane) Biddle of Andover, MA, and Lance (Laura) Biddle of West Elizabeth; grandchildren, Derek, Brittany, Matthew, Elizabeth, Andrew, Carl, Michael, Joseph, Kate and Sarah Biddle; brother-in-law, Charles Thompson of New Eagle; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Jeanne Thompson. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 10 AM in Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church with Pastor W. Stephen Morse officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, 100 Timothy Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
