Yvonne Broyles March 22, 1937 – April 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card YVONNE BROYLES Yvonne Broyles, 82 of Tazewell, VA, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 3, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Dorothy Sayers Asbury. She was one of the founders of the Springville Homemakers Club and was a seamstress. She and her husband, Joe, owned and operated their own business. Yvonne was a member of Tip Top United Methodist Church and Wrights Valley United Methodist Church, attending faithfully and serving as the churches’ pianist for over 20 years. She was a kind hearted lady who loved the Lord and enjoyed talking to and being with people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years: Joseph Thomas Broyles; brothers: James Asbury, Jay Asbury and Michael Asbury; daughter: Debbie Chapman. She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her children: Jerry Broyles and wife, Penny of Tazewell, VA and Stephanie Broyles and companion, Barry Davidson of Tazewell, VA; her siblings: Patricia Gayno and husband, Don of Florida, Barbara Layne and companion, Robert Ketron of Tazewell, VA, Sharon Spradlin and husband, Bruce, Ray Asbury and wife, Phyllis, Jack Asbury, Dee Asbury and wife, Linda all of Florida; grandchildren: Shane Chapman and companion, Carol Bridges, Brandon Broyles and wife, Chea, Travis Broyles and wife, Sara and Abbi Sparks; great-grandchildren: Bethany Broyles, Joe Broyles, Caden Chapman, Jovi Chapman and Timothy Chapman. A service to celebrate Mrs. Yvonne’s homegoing will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Carter, Brandon Broyles, Shane Chapman, Caden Chapman, Bruce Spradlin and Barry Davidson. Honorary pallbearer will be Tristen Evans. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at Dudley from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Legacy Hospice, Tip Top United Methodist Church or Wrights Valley United Methodist Church.
