Wyatenia Williams Collick (“Tina, Aunt Tina, Sis”), 70 died Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD. Born in New Bern, NC, she was the daughter of the late Isaac H. and Annie O. (King) Williams. Her late husband Waymon Sherwood Collick, Sr. died in 2004. She relocated to Berlin as a child and received her formal education in the public schools of Worcester County. She was formerly employed with the Commander Hotel, The Harrison Group Hotels and Eden Roc Hotel, all of Ocean City, MD. She was a life-long member of Tyree AME Church where she was a Missionary, Steward and was a Prayer Warrior. Her survivors include two children: Vontina Yvonne Collick of Gaithersburg, MD and Waymon Sherwood Collick, Jr. of Berlin, MD; a brother: Joseph (Phyllis) King; aunt: Lillie Ann Dillahunt, cousins: Eddie Lee Coleman, Herschel Vick-Brown, Rev. Priscilla King-Garner (Zawdie), Robert Smith, nieces: Robin Taylor, Gretchen King-Poole (Hillard, Jr.), Lynette King-Huckaby (Robert), one nephew: Lennie (Sarah) King; fourteen great nieces and nephews; a host of great-great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her grandmother: Almetta King White Cummings and an uncle: Amos Williams preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, at Tyree AME Church in Berlin where friends may view, one hour prior to service. Interment will be in New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Berlin, MD.
