Willie Frances Tuck Franklin April 1 1927 April 19 2019 (age 92)

Mrs. Willie Frances Tuck Franklin, age 92, of 2219 North Woodland Rd, Henderson, NC, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2019. Mrs. Franklin was born on April 1, 1927, in Chase City, VA, to the late Baker Powell Tuck and Juanita Ray Tuck. She later married William Barber Franklin, who preceded her in death. Willie spent most of her life in Danville and was the last of her generation. She worked at Health Tex as a seamstress and was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. Mrs. Franklin is survived by her sons, Melvin C. Franklin (Patsy) of Henderson, NC and Michael W. Franklin (Ann) of Mocksville, NC; daughters, Barbara Ann Hines of West VA, and Jean Williams (Mike) of Seagrove, NC; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael W. Franklin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Swicegood Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Franklin family.
