William Floyd Hamilton October 06, 1943 – April 21, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William Floyd Hamilton, 75, of Moultrie, died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 4:00pm Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Leila United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Pallbearers will be Ricky Weeks, Bill Smith, Danny Willis, Carl Horne, Larry Lairsey and Wandell Boyd. Mr. Hamilton was born on October 6, 1943 in Moultrie to the late William M. Hamilton and Ruthie Wilson Hamilton. He was a farmer of over 40 years and a member of Weeks Chapel Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Hamilton and Lloyd Hamilton; and sisters, Evelyn Boyd and Nadine Hamilton. He is survived by his nieces Diane Cross and husband Glenn of Ellabell Ga, and Sharon Dunlap and husband Carlton of Moultrie; nephews, Cass Cross, Corey Cross and wife Carisa, Zeke Dunlap and wife Sherri; and the children of Corey and Zeke who he adored and loved spending time with, Alyssa Cross, Sissy Cross, Audrina Cross, Vanissa Cross and Lyla and Ellie Dunlap. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at Leila United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
