William “Bill”‘s Obituary William “Bill” Morris Breeden William “Bill” Morris Breeden, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Livingston Manor Care Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Bill was born the son of Walter Gordon Breeden and Iola Lee (Posey) Breeden on May 9, 1927 in Hannibal, Missouri. On August 8, 1948, Bill was united in marriage to Shirley Bowman at the United Methodist Church in Wheeling, Missouri. She survives of the home. After graduating from Chillicothe High School in 1945, he entered the U.S. Army. After his release from the Army, he returned to Chillicothe and worked briefly at J.C. Penny Company. In 1949, he started work at Industrial Equipment Company and retired from there in April 1990. Bill was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church of rural Chillicothe. He was also a member of the American Legion Bern R. Glick Post #25. Bill enjoyed spending time at their Lake of the Ozark home, part-time farming, traveling, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Shirley; one daughter, Sandra of Chillicothe, Missouri; brother-in-law, Harold (Jiggs) Warren of Wheeling, Missouri; brother-in-law, John Bowman and wife Sharon of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Dottie Coburn Duncan of Chillicothe, Missouri; sister-in-law, Patricia Bowman of Bonner Springs, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carla Alice (Breeden) Warren; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Patricia Breeden; niece, Linda Warren Smith, sister-in-law, Darlene Bowman Wilder and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Bette Coburn Peer and husband John; brothers-in-law, Danny Bowman, Dean Bowman and wife Carren, Kenneth Coburn and wife Rachel, Max Coburn and wife Buela. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 10:30 AM. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
