William “Bill”‘s Obituary William “Bill” J. Wilusz Kingman – William “Bill” J. Wilusz, 64, formerly of Griffith and Valparaiso, IN and had been residing in Kingman, IN, passed away unexpectedly from heart issues at his home in Kingman on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 9:28 p.m. Bill, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Gary, Indiana on November 11, 1954. He was the son of the late Andrew Francis “Frank” and Laura Kolodziej (czyk) Wilusz. Bill was raised in Gary and graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School and later from Griffith High School in 1972. Bill later resided in Griffith from 18 years before moving to Valparaiso in 1999. Bill moved to Kingman in 2015. Bill formerly worked as a parts manager for Town & Country Auto Sales and later worked as a fixed operations manager for Napleton Auto Werks in Schererville, IN. After his retirement Bill worked part time at Auto Zone in Crawfordsville. While living in Griffith, Bill attended the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling in his early years and liked to restore older model cars. In his early years he enjoyed racing cars on the dirt tracks. More recently he took up radio controlled car racing and traveled with his son throughout the midwest. On February 14, 1981, Bill married Judith “Judie” A. Matusik in Griffith, IN. He leave behind his wife, Judie of 38 years; four children, Bill Bennett, Hobart, IN; Lynette Griffith, Nebraska; A.J. (Denise) Wilusz, Whiteland, IN and Nathan (Blair) Wilusz, Kingman; three siblings, Robert (Karen) Wilusz, Griffith; Sharon (David) Price and Marcia Pease; several grandchildren.
