Wendell Elsworth Davis, 87, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Born January 20, 1932 in Greene County, he was the son of Cyrus Edgar and Goldie Geneva (Boruff) Davis. He was a group Leader at RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Bloomfield. He was a member of the Bloomfield Odd Fellows Club. Surviving relatives include: two sons, Jim (Rhonda) Davis of Linton and Eugene Davis of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Aaron (Lindsey) Davis of Ellettsville, Lacquen (Brandon) McCabe of Bloomfield and Colte (Hunter) Sanders of Bloomington; one great grandchild, Parker Davis of Ellettsville and two more great grandchildren on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Davis on September 22, 2012, one brother, Wilbur Davis and his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. John Moffatt officiating. Interment will follow in Switz City Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
