Walter’s Obituary Walter “Cha Cha” Thierry, Sr., 90, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Summer Place Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Thierry will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, located at 710 IH-10 East-Beaumont, Texas 77703, under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home. A public visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Cha Cha memories will remain in the hearts of his wife Roberta Thierry of Beaumont, Texas; five children: Walter Thierry, Jr. (Rose) Jacqueline Frank (Preston), Elliott Thierry (Dorisell) all of Beaumont, Texas, Irma Senigal (Roland) of Houston, Texas and Everett Don Thierry (Stephanie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two stepchildren: David Dobbins of Beaumont, Texas and Gregory Dobbins (Monica) of San Marcus, Texas, one sister: Hilda Hatchett of Plaisance, Louisiana and brother, Samuel Thierry of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
