Virl’s Obituary Virl Catherine Bowling was born on May 3, 1935 in Laurel County, Kentucky; the daughter of the late Roy Bowling and Fannie McClure. She is survived by two children, Joy Moore and husband Frank and Dale Witt both of London; seven siblings, Roy Bowling Jr. and wife Velma, Lonnie Bowling, Edith Murray and husband Robert, Patsy Napier and husband Bentley, Elouise Roark all of London; Lorene Ladanyi of Florence, Kentucky; and Pearl Ashcraft of Cynthiana, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren, her caregiver, Elizabeth Acres of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda McFadden and a brother, Frank Bowling. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.
