Tomás Pazo, Sr., age 73, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born on August 24, 1945, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Antonio Pazo and Hortencia Oliver Pazo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tomás was an entrepreneur in home health service and master mechanic. He was the owner of Albert Pike Laundromat. Tomás loved cooking and he was good at it! Tomás was a gentle man with a wonderful smile and a great heart. He made each person in his life feel like the most important person in the world. He was a family man who loved and cherished his children and his wife, Sharon. He and Sharon loved each other deeply for over twenty years. Tomás worked hard throughout his life and most recently owned Albert Pike Laundromat. He loved to work on his classic cars and to use his Puerto Rican and Cajun heritage to create amazing meals for his family and friends. He loved and enjoyed his friends at Jose’s, Buffalo Wild Wings and many other places in Hot Springs. Tomás never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife, Sharon England of Hot Springs; four sons, Javier (Isolda) Pazo and Tomás (Gina) Pazo, all of Kenner, Louisiana, Guilberto (Martha) Pazo of Fort Worth, Texas and T. Glenn (Jessica) Ducote of Moncla, Louisiana; three daughters, Rosanna (Dann) Kowalski of Rowlett, Texas, Melania (Wes) Ware of Indian Land, South Carolina and Courtney England of Kentwood, Louisiana; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Macu Vasquez of Florida, Luz Maria (Gladys) Pazo of New York and Margarita Pazo of Puerto Rico; nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Sharon and his family invite you to a celebration of Tomás’ life at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Immediately following the service, the celebration will continue at Catherine’s Landing, 1700 Shady Grove Road in Hot Springs. Bring your own drinks if you have a preference.
