Thomas F. Karoleski, 74, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Tom was born in Syracuse and graduated from Sacred Heart School, West Genesee High School and OCC. He served in the US Air Force during Vietnam War. He retired from the Onondaga County Highway Department. Tom was a member of the Rod and Gun Club in Cicero, Oneida Lake Association and the NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was predeceased by his son, Aron Karoleski; and his parents, Francis and Helen Karoleski. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Karoleski Fernbacher; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Jennie Karoleski of East Syracuse; and three nephews, Anthony (Dr. Christina) Karoleski, Ronald (Meaghan) Karoleski, Jr. and Michael Karoleski. Family and friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow the calling hour at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
