Alexander, Jr. were held Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Sam Callaway officiating. T.J. Alexander, Jr. died Friday, April 5, 2019, at Scott & White Hospital after a lengthy stay. He was an organ donor. He was born August 5, 1983, in Temple to Terry Joe Alexander and Teresa Stark Alexander of The Grove. He lived in Central Texas, Sugarland, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved all animals. He was a 2002 graduate of Belton High School. He attended Temple College, Tarleton State University and TSTC in Waco. He was a carpenter by trade and loved it. He was preceded in death by two sons, Wyatt Alexander and Waylon Alexander; one daughter, Sophie Alexander; grandparents, Floyd and Marilyn Stark, Patsy Goode, and Billy Joe Alexander. He is survived by his daughter, Abigail Alexander, of Temple, parents, Terry and Teresa Alexander, and sister, Chasity Alexander Nigliazzo of Montgomery, Texas, and numerous family members. His daughter, like her father, loves animals and requests that any memorials be made to the Temple Animal Shelter, 620 Mama Dog Lane, Temple, Texas, 76504.
