Keokee, Virginia Shirley Nyoaka Caudill, 74, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Caudill and son, Michael “Georgie” Caudill. She was a very strong, loving woman and mother and will be missed by everyone. Shirley is survived by two sons, Bobby Caudill Jr. and wife Tammy, Jeffery “Sam” Caudill and girlfriend Brittany Cook both of Keokee, VA; grandson, J.D. Larson; granddaughters, Emily Caudill, Shelby Farr; brothers, Jim Sturgill of Roda, VA, Henry “Jr” Sturgill of Lexington, VA; sisters, Betty Kelly of Holmes Mill, KY, Judy Zollman of Lexington, VA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday April 24, 2019 at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday April 25, 2019 in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bob Maggard. Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery.
