Shirley Ann Townsend, of Detroit, passed away April 25, 2019 at the age of 70. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Dorsey,Sr. and Evelyn Baker on April 8, 1949. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Johnnie Vincent Townsend; her beloved children, Shirley Shufford (Husband-James Shufford), Johnnie Townsend (Wife-Dawn Townsend), Tommy Townsend, Girard Townsend (Wife- Shelly Townsend), Charles Townsend (Wife-Shea Townsend) and Lisa Townsend; loving grandchildren, Charnetta Shufford, Chaundra Shufford, Charrie Shufford, Delilah Townsend, Girard Townsend, Shaianna Townsend, Christina Townsend, Shalece Townsend, Saveria Townsend, Cameryn Townsend, Chakiris Townsend, Londinn Townsend, Ashtinn Townsend,Ivynn Townsend, Christopher Townsend, Felicia Townsend, Sabrina Laughlin, Adrianna Townsend, Raheem Townsend, Kareem Townsend, Zaria Townsend, Renee King, Christopher King and Charde McCrary; and precious great grandchildren, Sariah Hall, Sameeyah Gregory, Christopher Durden and Londhyn King.
