Sherry’s Obituary Sherry Luan (Tennison) Greenhaw, 62, a lifelong resident of Bass, AR peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 at Holt Memorial Chapel. Her brothers, Dale and Dennis Tennison will officiate. Burial will follow at McCutcheon Cemetery in Bass. Pallbearers are Jerry Martin, David Tennison, Derek Tennison, Daniel Tennison, Paul Williams, and Curt Melton. The daughter of Junior and Colene (Martin) Tennison, Sherry was born in Harrison, AR November 11, 1956 on her sweet mother’s birthday. She was a faithful member of the Ben’s Branch Church of Christ and recently celebrated her 18th anniversary working at the Area Agency on Aging in Harrison. Sherry loved being outdoors working in her garden, hiking, four wheeling, or simply sitting on the porch enjoying her coffee with Roger, her husband of 44 years, by her side. She always made her family and friends her top priority. “Granny” spent countless hours playing games and exploring the outdoors with her precious grandbabies. She was quick witted, had a positive attitude, and was always up for an impromptu bonfire in the front yard. She will forever be remembered for her legendary brownies and will be greatly missed as the beloved family barber. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Colene Tennison. She is survived by her father, Junior Tennison; her husband, Roger Greenhaw; two daughters, Amanda “Mandy” Williams and husband Paul of Rogers; Jessica “Jessie” Melton and husband Curt, of Olvey; her sister, Janice Higgins (Frank); two brothers, Dale Tennison (Debbie) and Dennis Tennison (Regina); five grandchildren Beau and Ethan Williams, Jhett, Quinn and Marley Melton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives who she loved and was much loved by.
