Sheila Kay Branum, 69, of Salem, IL, passed away at 6:27 PM, Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 03, 2019 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Sheila Kay Branum was born on June 08, 1949 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Phelps) Dolly. Before retirement Sheila worked as a caregiver, helping several people over the years. Sheila is survived by her two sons, Derek Branum and wife, Jennifer of O’Fallon and Travis Branum of Shobonier; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ron, Don, and Jim Dolly; and an infant brother, Gary.
