Scott’s Obituary Obituary Scott McBride, 49 Scott E. McBride, 49, of Mackay, passed away, Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Portneuf Medical Center. Scott was born April 14, 1969 in Pocatello, Idaho to Edward Keith McBride and Nyeta JoAnn Barthlome. Scott was raised in Pocatello. He attended Washington Elementary, Franklin Jr. High and Pocatello High School. He lived in Moreland for a short time before moving to Mackay in 2005. Scott worked as a handyman. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Scott enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, spending time with family and serving others. He also enjoyed visiting friends, hunting and four-wheeling. Scott always made you feel welcome with a smile and a handshake. Scott is survived by his children, Anthony Scott (Josh Parker) McBride of Salt Lake City, UT, Jared E (Laura) McBride of Blackfoot; parents, Keith and JoAnn McBride of Mackay; siblings, Michael (Katy) McBride of Pocatello, David (Tamyra) McBride of Hermiston, OR, Bobette (Craig) Quick of Pocatello, Tracy (John) Stewart of Moreland; three grandchildren, Talia, Alaki, and Zadian and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bryan, DeLee McBride; son, Blake Lyle McBride; and nephew, Michael Weston McBride. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Restlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Pocatello.
