Ruth Elaine Faulk McGuire August 05, 1927 – April 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card McMinnville, TN resident and Willoughby, OH native Ruth Elaine Faulk McGuire, age 91, was born August 5, 1927 and died April 28, 2019 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a one-year illness. A retired CNA with home health and a member of the Jehovah’s Witness, she was the daughter of the late John Rodney and Gladys Custer Faulk. She was married to Cleveland McGuire who preceded her in death on March 26, 2008. She is survived by three children and spouses, John McGuire and Jona Cobb, Jane and Larry Jones, and Linda and Delbert Ray all of McMinnville; five grandchildren and spouses, James and Lynn Jones of McMinnville, LaJuana and Lee Baker of Morrison, TN, Sean and Laura McGuire of El Paso, TX, Todd and Brigitte Ray of McMinnville, and Kim Ray and David Owens of Murfreesboro, TN; seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey West and husband Tillman, LaKaryl Mayfield and husband Michael, Nate Baker, Elizabeth Baker, Clayton Jones, Zoe McGuire, and Gesillee Jurez; four great-great-grandchildren, Tinsley West, Matthew West, Laurell Leigh Mayfield, and Branson Mayfield; four brothers, Wayne and Roderick Faulk both of Murfreesboro, TN, Roger Faulk of Tennessee, and Bernard Faulk of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow in Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s.
