Rockey’s Obituary Rockey LaMorris Freeman, 49, current resident of McMinnville Tn passed away unexpectedly on April 26,2019. He was born July 17,1969 in Cleveland TN to Calvin Freeman of Dalton GA and Lena Kay Johnson (Burgess) of Etowah TN. He grew up in Mcminn County and was a graduate of Mcminn Central High School-Class of 1987. He was preceded in death by (maternal)grandparents Icie and Walter Burgess, (paternal) grandparents Cora and Luther Freeman, and aunt Bonnie Lee Freeman (Burgess). He was survived by parents Calvin Freeman and Lena Kay Johnson (Burgess), 2 sons Mylon Freeman and Timothy Freeman, 1 daughter Kristianna Evans (Freeman), son-in-law Justin Evans, grandson Brantley Evans, Fiancee Kimberly Conner, and other extended family. He enjoyed playing music and fishing in his spare time, but his greatest love was his family and spending time with them. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Celebration of life and home going will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the chapel of Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Brother Bill Trotter of Gainesville, GA officiating.
