Robert A. “Bob” Clark 81, of Estero, FL died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice. He was born September 30, 1937 in Cleveland, OH a son of the late Andy and Stella (Brokos) Clark. Formerly of Aurora, OH he had been a resident of Estero since 2002 and a winter resident since 1989. He was a graduate of Garfield High School in Garfield, OH. After his graduation, he began his career with AT&T retiring after 32 years as a technical inspector. He also served with the Aurora Fire Department retiring as a Captain after 30 years of service. The same year as his retirement from the Aurora Fire Department, Bob was awarded the City of Aurora’s “Citizen of the Year.” He was a member and former President of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was an avid golfer and bocce ball player. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carol L. Clark of Estero, FL; two sons, Daniel W. Clark (Andrea) of Brunswick, OH and Robert P. Clark of Shaker Heights, OH and 5 grandchildren, Lexie, Mathew, Nicholas, Zachary and Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Daniel Clark who died in 1968. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs 9751 Bonita Beach Rd., Bonita Springs, FL. Inurnment will follow in the Resurrection Garden at the First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bob can be made to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice 27100 Imperial Pkwy., Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
