Richard’s Obituary Jones, Richard J. of Flushing, age 65, died Friday, April 26, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Rossell Funeral Home. Deacon Ron Kenney will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home until the time of the service at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on December 30, 1953, the son of James and Marilyn (Reed) Jones. He married Freda Westbrook on April 11, 1981. Richard retired from Young’s Environmental and Tom Ryan Distributing as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and was an excellent metal fabricator. He had a love of all things with wheels and enjoyed restoring tractors, motocycles, building and racing go-karts and dune buggies. He was an avid Nascar fan. Richard loved camping, and farming but his family was his greatest joy. He is survived by his wife, Freda; children, Sherri and husband Keith Kranz, Brian Leonard; grandchildren, Kyle and Maddie Kranz, Kristof, Dominik, and Oliver Leonard; and many loving friends and family.
