Richard Gilbert Loewen passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 89, at the Church of Christ Assisted Living facilities in Clinton Township. He was born on September 17, 1929 to Gilbert and Catherine (Altwies) in Detroit. Beloved husband to the late Jean. Loving father of Deborah (the late Thomas) Duchon, David (Linda), Donald (Sarah) and the late Diane Loewen. Proud and loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of JoAnn (the late Robert) Brutyn. Visitation on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (N. of 22 Mile Rd.)
