PLEASE READ TO THE END OF THE OBITUARY FOR “IN LIEU OF FLOWERS” OPTION Philomena B. Bertagnolli, “Phil” (Nee Santoro), of Blackwood, NJ passed away on March 30, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of John F. Bertagnolli, Sr. “Jack”; loving mother of Dr. John F. Bertagnolli, Jr. (Sondra) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Kenneth C. Bertagnolli (Susan) of Wenonah, NJ, and Elena Fondacaro (Phil) of Fresno, CA; and dear grandmother of Kenneth Edward Bertagnolli, Robert Bertagnolli, John Vito Bertagnolli, and Angelo Bertagnolli. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings: Antoinette Rissi (Joseph), Carmen Santoro (Carol), Leo Santoro (Florence is surviving), Samuel Santoro (Peggy is surviving), Mario Santoro (Connie), and Lucy Robinson (Gerald). Mrs. Bertagnolli was a long-time resident of Blackwood, where she raised her family, and worked as a seamstress at the David Stevens Co. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, of whom she was most proud. She and her husband Jack loved to travel, and to dance. Viewing will be Thursday, April 4th, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a Catholic prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum will follow.
