Peggy Leigh Mills, age 68, of Warthen, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. A native of Sandersville, she was born on September 9, 1950 to the late William Morgan Mills and the late Lila Wright Mills. Peggy had been a CNA / Caregiver at the Extended Care Facility at Washington County Hospital. She attended Sisters Baptist Church and the Church of the Nazarene, but enjoyed attending church with her niece at VC2 when she was able. Peggy is survived by: Her Niece, Lisa McConnell Channell (& Eric) of Warthen ; her Aunts, Mary Chambers of Midland and Mildred Wright of Sandersville ; her Cousins, Billy (& Betty June) Wright of Sandersville and Carolyn W. Jackson of Sandersville ; and Numerous other family members. A Celebration of Life for Peggy Leigh Mills will be held at the Scott Health and Rehabilitation Center in Adrian, GA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to: First Love Kids International, Inc., P.O. Box 702, Sandersville, GA 31082, or to the Activities Programs at Scott Health and Rehab, 12 Smith Lane, Adrian, GA 31002, or Southland Health and Rehab, 606 Simmons Street, Dublin, GA 31021, or to the Youth Program at your local church.
