Patsy Dail Quinn July 09, 1947 – April 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Memorial Donation Patsy Allen Dail Quinn July 9, 1947 – April 18, 2019 Pasty Allen Dail Quinn, age 71 passed away Thursday evening at Wayne UNC Hospital surronded by family and friends. In true Patsy form she made her own terms and decisions about her wishes up until the end. She was born in Duplin County, NC. She was active in her community and her church. Her passions were her family and helping others. One of her favorite things were family parties especially if it involve blue crabs. She was instrumental in helping establishing Word of Faith Church and Word of Faith Church Ministries Food Program. She was bold, ferocious, and strong in her faith until she took her last breath witnessing to and praying with our family and the staff in the ICU. She had a heart that was larger than life and made of pure gold. She never meet an enemy and everyone was family and always welcome. She was someone that loved with everything in her, a true example of Christ like love. A service honoring Patsy’s life will be Sunday April 21, 2019 at Community Funeral Home in Beulaville, NC. Visitation with the family will be at 3 pm, with the funeral beginning at 4 pm. Immediately following will be the burial at the Quinn Family Cemetery across from her home. The family will continue to fellowship with friends and love one that want to visit at Word of Faith Ministries Warehouse as she wanted us to have a “party” for her. Patsy is survived by her husband of 54 years Maynard “Bud” Quinn of Kenansville. Her last words to him was that she loved him more now than she ever had and after all this time he still made her heart flutter. Her children; Wanda Bell (Jimmy), Cristy Bell (Daniel), and John Quinn (Cecilia) of Kenansville and her bonus daughter Ann Jackson (Carl) of Mount Olive. Sisters Flora Lester (Jimmy) of FL, Christine Wellens (Charlie) of MA, and brother Larry “Big Sugar” Dail (Kaye). A multitude of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her grandchildren who were the light of her life and the twinkle in her eye. Jessie Jones (Nick) of Potter’s Hill, JonPaul Murphy (Christian) of Kenansville, Ashley Whaley of Warsaw, Jameson Whaley of Kenansville, Jeremy Whaley of Warsaw, Justas “Bubba” Basden of Cary, Jayana Basden of Greensboro, Travis Bell of Mount Olive, Daniel Brent Bell Jr. (Samantha) of Kenansville, John Allen Quinn of Kenansville. Greatgrand children Adalyn Jones of Potters Hill, Jaycee Whaley of Warsaw, and 2 on the way. Patsy was proceeded in death by her parents Alpheus Erastus “Rat” and Daisy Thelma Ingram Dail. Her brother Everette “Buddy” Dail, sisters Doris Dail Staley and Alice Dail Page. Her children Lisa Quinn and infant son James Quinn. All of whom she told us she was ready to see and she was happy to be headed home. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to Word of Faith Ministries, 1288 N NC 11 903 Hwy., Kenansville, NC 28349.
