Patricia’s Obituary Patricia Ann Balmas, 74, of Monett went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, April 15, 2019. Patty, as known by her friends, was born on December 24, 1944 in Rogers, Arkansas, daughter of Violet and Wallace Robbins. She moved to rural Monett at the age of 3 where she continued living. Patty was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where she loved to praise the Lord. Patty was a homemaker and had an upholstery business in Monett for a number of years. Patty married Robert Balmas on June 20, 1965 in Monett, MO and he survives. Patty and Robert have two children, Lawrence Balmas of Monett and Latricia Davis and husband Dep of Monett. They have two grandchildren, Brittany Welters and husband Andrew and Ethan Davis and fiancĂ©e Alexis Cooper, all of Monett. Patty also has one great-grandson, her pride and joy, Jase Welters of Monett and a dear friend, Brenda Williams. Patty is also survived by her sisters, Olieva Thompson of Jenkins and Geneva Eggers and husband Herman of Poplar Bluff. She has one surviving brother, Loren Robbins and wife Joann of Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and Larry Robbins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home with Pastor David Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bethel Cemetery or the Bethel Baptist Church.
