Oscar (Lighting)’s Obituary Bro. Oscar (Lightning) Davis was born July 31, 1937 to the late Mae Bell and Barnes Davis in ElDorado, AR. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was once employed at Joe’s Tire & Hudson used Auto. He is preceded in death his wife Betty Davis and Son Jerry. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters; Annie Bell Tubbs, Thelma Sue Davis, and Mae Lou Ratliff, 2 brothers; Harry Davis & Barnes Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: Gwendolyn Miller of Little Rock, AR, one son Kent Davis of El Dorado, AR, and one grand-daughter, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
