Angier, NC: Mrs. Myrtie Jean Ryals McGee, age 82, of 3068 Old Fairground Road, died Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. R.B. Parrish, Jerry Peck and Louis Parker. Burial will follow in the McGee Family Cemetery, Angier, NC. Mrs. McGee was born on March 30, 1937 in Johnston County to the late Lonnie and Lillie Mae Hudson Ryals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Daniel McGee, daughter, Joann McGee Pleasant, son, Coy Grant McGee, sisters, Betty Faye West and Elgie Mae Ryals and a brother, William Ryals. Mrs. McGee worked at the Benson Shirt Factory and was a retired farmer. She was a member of Prayer Baptist Church in Benson. Surviving include her children, Billy Young, Ray McGee, Ronnie McGee, Wayne McGee, Ricky McGee and Patricia McGee; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Dupree; brothers, Gerald Ryals and Jimmy Ryals; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM, Tuesday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
