Mrs. Mildred Lee Burton Haith July 30, 1936 – April 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation BURLINGTON- Mrs. Mildred Lee Burton Haith, 82, formerly of 1018 Hill Street, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. A native of Person County, she was the daughter of Alex Burton, Sr. and Lillian Jennings Burton, both deceased and the wife of Charlie E. Haith, Sr., deceased. Mildred was also preceded in death by a son, Craig L. Haith; a brother, Cleveland Burton; and a sister, Geraldine “Twinkle” Burton. Mrs. Haith is survived by her son, Mr. Charles “Chuck” Haith, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Daphne Gant Haith of the home; two brothers, Alex Burton, Jr. (Iris) of Burlington and Ricky Burton of New Jersey; three sisters, Louise Burton Miles of Burlington, Ann Burton Ratliff (Min. Walter) of Graham and Yvonne Burton of Green Level; one granddaughter, Charlotte M. Haith of Burlington; a special friend, Charlie Leath of Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mildred’s homegoing service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Alamance Funeral Service with Rev. Michael W. Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service in the chapel at the funeral home. Mrs. Haith’s public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Haith Family.
