SERVICE: A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. There will be a gathering for family and friends following the service at the Barber home, 730 Perkins Road, Poolville, 76487. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover expenses, www.gofundme.com/medical-expenses-for-barber-family. Mike spent a full life, working for 30 years as a railroad conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed playing guitar and watching the Dallas Stars. However, his greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family and wife of 26 years, Diane “Tooiez” Barber. SURVIVORS: Wife, Diane Barber; sons, Brayden Taggart and David Barber; daughters, Treasure Mcleod and Ashley Farmer. Mike also had multiple grandchildren and as well as great-grandchildren and many friends. In his last hours Michael was surrounded by all of his beloved family and friends.
