He was a self-employed nurseryman and timberman, member of Philadelphia the Baptist Church of Christ and son of the late Osborn Conard and Bessie Tate Wanamaker. Mr. Wanamaker was married November 2, 1963 to Joyce Brady Wanamaker who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Janice Wanamaker; son-in-law, Dewy Harris; brothers, Johnny Ned Wanamaker and Bradley Matthew Wanamaker; and sister, Iris Nell Walker. Mr. Wanamaker is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Michael Joe and Amy Wanamaker, Jr. of McMinnville; daughters and son-in-law, Michael Janie and Chad Osment and Joyce Elaine Harris all of McMinnville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Ricky Simons of McMinnville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Maxine Wanamaker, Rickey and Flo Wanamaker, David and Ella Wanamaker and Billy Conard and Nelda Wanamaker all of McMinnville; and brother-in-law, Herbert Walker of McMinnville. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Philadelphia Cemetery with Jason Brown to officiate.
