Michael Edward Roush, 59, of Mt. Lake Park, MD, passed away on April 10, 2019, at Garrett Regional Medical Center, Oakland, MD. Born February 26, 1960, he was the son of the late Gerald and Karen K. (Johnson) Roush. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Scott Roush. Michael worked in construction as a laborer. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Michael loved his 3 dachshund dogs and was a very kind man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by his companion of 21 years, Stacy Weitzel; two sons, Eric Roush, Vacaville, CA; Jason Roush, Sacramento, CA; one daughter, Brenna Roush-Maxwell, Vallejo, CA; one brother, Jeff Roush and wife, Dana, Ashton, IA; one sister, Renee Dever and husband, Matthew, Oakland; eight grandchildren, Michael, Emmalee, Cierra, Shyanne, Sylvia, Junior, Alicia and Adalyn; numerous nieces and nephews. At Michael’s request, he will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD, 21550, is in charge of cremation.
