She was born on June 18, 1925 in Washington County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Hill; son, Joseph “Buddy” Ford; daughter, Frances “Frankie” Gabehart; six brothers; James Franklin Hill, John Henry Hill, Ernest William Hill, Jessie Reed Hill, Virgil Ray Hill, and Charles Wesley Hill; sister, Helen May Roberts. Survivors include her two sons, Billy (Pam) Ford of Campbellsville, KY, James Ford (Companion Christie Perkins) of Lebanon, KY; six daughters, Theresa (Wesley) Simpson of Gravel Switch, KY, Dorothy (Dan) Carroll of Elizabethtown, KY, Mary (Ricky) Wheatley of Raywick, KY, Tammy (Curtis) Payne of Lebanon, KY, Marty (Todd) Simspon of Gravel Switch, KY, JoAnn (Charlie) Atwell of Lebanon, KY. Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:30 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home.
