Mary’s Obituary Mrs. Mary Lou Smith of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Saturday, April 27 at the Woodland Hills Care Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana at the age of 82. Mrs. Smith was born February 19, 1937 in Franklin County, KY. to the late Raymond Pickett and Ora Bates Pickett. Mrs. Smith was a retired factory assembly worker for State Machine Products in Dry Ridge and she was a member of the White Dove Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith formerly served as a volunteer for Helping Hands in Williamstown. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Smith, by a daughter: Sheila Hutcherson, by sons: James Hutcherson, John Hutcherson, Tony Hutcherson, and by a sister: Pearl Chipman. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter: Cheryl Greis of Alexandria, KY., by sons: Ronnie Sasher of Williamstown, KY., Larry Hutcherson of Corinth, KY., Rick Hutcherson of Lexington, KY., sisters: Norma Gaskins of Williamstown, KY., Linda Kalinyak of Williamstown, KY., Donna Wright of Owenton, KY., brothers: Eugene Pickett and George Pickett both of Williamstown, KY., 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Smith will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, May 2 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, 30 South Main Street, Dry Ridge, KY. 41035. with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Visitation will also be Thursday, May 2 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Read More
