Maria Pereira of Fall River, Massachusetts October 2, 1935 – April 21, 2019 FALL RIVER… Maria E. Pereira, 86, of Fall River passed away April 21, 2019 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the widow of Joseph Pereira. Born in the Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose Gonzales and Maria Pereira. Mrs. Pereira was a communicant of Santo Christo Church. She enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children: Tina Rayner of Fall River, Joseph Pereira of Portugal and Estrela Correia of Fall River; her siblings: Maria Pereira of Portugal, Manuel Pereira of Fall River, Maria Vieira of Fall River and Maria Andrade of Fall River; her grandchildren: John Andrade, Kenny Andrade, Ryan Correia, Steven Correia, Kevin Correia and Christopher Correia; her great grandchildren: Anthony Correia, Chloe Correia, Colton Correia and Tegan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 8:30 – 10:30 AM, prior to the funeral.
