Margene’s Obituary Margene Bramble Gifford, 80, peacefully passed away April 17, 2019 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born January 1, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Milton and Ora Bramble and attended Granite High School and Weber State University. She married Errol Gifford in the Salt Lake Temple in 1958 and they were the parents of five children. Margene worked tirelessly to help provide for her family and was a valued employee at Zions Bank and Intermountain Health Care. She loved her children, bragged about her grandchildren, and enjoyed playing games and doing puzzles. Margene was an excellent cook and made amazing homemade pies and bread. She was an avid reader, loved making crafts, and was a talented seamstress. Every child and grandchild was the recipient of a beautiful, warm blanket. Margene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings where she shared many talents including her cooking and decorating talents. She loved her new home in Parowan and enjoyed attending the Summit Ward. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Biehn (Max), and sons Kirk (Holley) and Darin (Becky); 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Margene was preceded in death by her husband Errol, sons Troy and Marc, parents Milton and Ora Bramble, sisters Janice and Sandra (Jay), and parents-in-law June and Lola Gifford, and one great-grandchild. A viewing will be held April 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Parowan, Utah (15 East 100 North). A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Clara, Utah cemetery (3780 Windmill Drive) under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Read More
