Manuel’s Obituary Manuel Contreras, 44, of Cameron, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 24 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Hernandez Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Manuel, a maintenance man for the Cameron Housing Authority, was born October 2, 1974 in Cameron to Ralph Contreras, Sr. and Rosa Maria (Rangel) Contreras.
