Born October 19, 1932, in Glenwood, she was retired from the United States Postal Service, Hilo Post Office after 30 years and was the first woman window clerk on the Big Island and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Kaumana-Piihonua Community Association, Big Island Portuguese Cultural Club and Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna – Alu Like. Visitation from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; wake service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation again from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo; funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Graveside committal service and burial 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No.2. Casual attire.
